MOTERA STADIUM : The world’s biggest stadium

Sardar Patel Stadium commonly known as, Motera Stadium is one of the premier cricket stadiums of India in the Motera locality of Ahmedabad and Sardar Patel stadium is owned by Gujarat Cricket Association and comes under the aegis of the West Zone. It is a regular venue for Test cricket and One Day Internationals (ODI) matches. After undergoing complete reconstruction after demolition in late 2016, it is now the Largest Cricket Stadium in the world and second largest stadium overall (behind the Rungrado May Day Stadium in North Korea which has a capacity of 114,000) with a seating capacity of 110,000 spectators.[6] The stadium was reconstructed with an estimated cost of Billion overtaking the Melbourne Cricket Ground (Australia) in terms of seating capacity.[7]
